The Role
As a NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor at ECS, you will be critical in ensuring our electrical works are not only compliant but exceed industry standards. You’ll work under our existing NICEIC registration, primarily servicing social housing and public sector projects, and ensuring the highest levels of safety, quality, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as our NICEIC Qualified Supervisor: validate and sign off NICEIC certifications.
- Review and validate Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), Electrical Installation Certificates and Minor Works certifications; feed any remedial work through to the Contract Manager for estimation.
- Liaise closely with clients’ representatives and internal teams to provide technical support, problem solving and ensure the work aligns with ECS’s high standards.
- Conduct quality audits of engineers’ work to maintain consistency, safety, and workmanship quality.
- Uphold and enforce safe working practices in all operations.
What We’re Looking For
Essential qualifications & experience:
- Demonstrable experience as a NICEIC Qualifying Supervisor.
- C&G 2360 Parts 1 & 2; NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent).
- C&G 2391 or 2394 & 2395 (inspection & testing qualifications) sufficient to meet the NICEIC Approved Contractor QS requirements.
- Valid ECS card.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a mindset of continuous improvement.
